HC Deb 19 February 1980 vol 979 c108W
Mr. Geraint Howells

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how much Government money was allocated to hill and upland research and development in Scotland during 1979; what were the corresponding amounts for the last 10 years; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Younger

The other Scottish agricultural research institutes and the Scottish agricultural colleges carry out work relating to hill and upland farming but separate costs cannot be isolated.
