§ Mr. Beithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has any new scientific evidence on the state of the Atlantic salmon stock.
§ Mr. YoungerA report on the Atlantic salmon stock was prepared by the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea during the course of last year. This report is now complete but has not yet been formally published. The ICES working group concerned is due to meet again this spring when it will continue its appraisal of the salmon stocks.
