§ Mr. Alexander FletcherIn accordance with Article 33 of the European convention of human rights and fundamental freedoms, the Commission meetsin camera. The Commission has accordingly requested that no public disclosure of the arrangements for the meeting in Edinburgh should be made.
§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on his discussions on the use of corporal punishment in schools in Scotland with representatives of Convention of the Scottish Local Authorities and the teaching profession organisations in Scotland.
