§ Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, following the recommendation of the joint Royal Society, Advisory Board for Research Councils and Advisory Council on Applied Research and Development report, under the chairmanship of Dr. A. Spinks, he will consider, in conjunction with the Natural Environment Research Council, the use of biotechnology for waste disposal and materials recovery.
