HL Deb 12 February 1980 vol 405 c155WA
Lord BARN BY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in the event of any further unfriendly action by the Government of Zambia towards the United Kingdom or any further harbouring by Zambia of armed Rhodesian terrorists, they will immediately suspend further aid of any kind to Zambia.

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN and COMMONWEALTH AFFAIRS (Lord Carrington)

As my noble friend said on 27th November 1979 (Hansard vol. 403, No. 52, col. 390), we shall continue to look at the question of aid to Zambia in the light of all the relevant considerations.
