§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food when he intends to implement the recommendations of the Brambell committee report on animal husbandry.
§ Mr. WigginA number of major recommendations of the Brambell committee have already been implemented. The codes of practice for the welfare of farm animals, which were developed as a result of the committee's report, are currently being reviewed by the Farm Animal Welfare Council.
