§ Mr. Iain Millsasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will bring 492W forward proposals to ensure that present leasehold tenants of local authority industrial estate sites have a right to buy the leasehold of those sites.
§ Mr. FoxMy right hon. Friend has already freed local authorities from the embargo on freehold disposals of industrial land imposed by the previous Government and he hopes that, where appropriate, authorities will give their tenants the opportunity to buy. But he has no further proposals in mind.
