The general Government borrowing requirement can be obtained from tables 146 and 147; gross domestic product at market prices from tables 10 and 11 and the gross domestic product at market prices deflator from tables 10, 11, 13 and 14.
The forecast for 1979–80 in the Financial Statement and Budget Report was £9.8 billion but this excluded proceeds from special sales of assets. No forecast for future years are available.
