§ Mr. FoxThe Millbank Estate—of which Bessborough Gardens is a part—is being redeveloped and rehabilitated by the Crown Estate Commissioners. The commissioners' proposals have been the 491W subject of extensive consultations over a number of years with the local planning authorities concerned and with the general public. I understand that they have been generally welcomed. My right hon. Friend sees no reason, therefore, to intervene in what is essentially a matter of local concern.
