§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeA considerable amount of evidence of various types of abuse has been forthcoming from a variety of sources including the police, local authorities, organisations representing the disabled and members of the public. The evidence is not generally in a form suitable for publication, much of it involving details of particular cases which it 271W would not in any case be appropriate to publish.
