asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to anounce the implementation of section 10 of the Education Act 1976.

The future of section 10 of the Education Act 1976 is bound up with decisions yet to be taken on the Warnock committee's report as a whole. My right hon. and learned Friend is studying the report and will, as soon as possible, be consulting Ministers in other interested Departments on what action by the Government is desirable and possible in present circumstances.
