§ Mr. Campbell-Savoursasked the Minister of Agriculture. Fisheries and Food if he will seek to amend the Salmon and Fresh Water Fisheries Act 1975 to exclude the placing of a fixed net in any inland or tidal water for any purpose as being an offence under section 6(1)(a).
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithI am advised that to achieve the purpose the hon. Member has in mind the law does not require amendment.
