asked the Secretary of State for Employment what notification he has received as to the number of jobs that will be lost if building works cease at the new Central Electricity Generating Board power station at Grain, Rochester.

Six notifications have so far been given to the Secretary of State under the redundancy handling provisions of the Employment Protection Act 1975, covering 1,088 employees.
