Friend to table 7.1 in report No. 8 of the Royal Commission on the distribution on income and wealth, fifth report on the standing reference (Cmnd. 7679, October 1979) and to the report of the committee of inquiry into the engineering profession, "Engineering our Future"(Cmnd. 7794, January 1980, par as. 3.35–3.44), both of which give information on the pay of engineers.
