Mr. Cook

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report, on a common price base, a table showing for each of the five years to 1979–80 the amount allocated to that year in each public expenditure White Paper in which that year is named for expenditure on (a) Government support to revenue expenditure on housing and (b) capital allocations for housing.

I regret that this information is not readily available and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report, on a common price base, the annual outturn expenditure, or estimated expenditure, for each of the 10 years to 1979–80 on (a) Government support to revenue expenditure on housing and (b) capital allocations for housing.

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report on a common price basis the amount he has budgeted for each of the five years from 1980–81 for expenditure on (a) Government support to revenue expenditure on housing and (b) capital allocations for housing.

Public expenditure on housing is at present under review, and I ask the hon. Member to await the forthcoming White Paper.
