In addition, Ministers pay regular visits to these countries. I am satisfied that these arrangements, backed up by the full range of our export services, provide adequate support to United Kingdom exporters.

§ Mr. ParkinsonIn 1979, trade with the developing world—which includes oil exporting countries—accounted for 18 per cent. of United Kingdom imports and 22 per cent. of United Kingdom exports.
