§ Mr. Kilroy-Silkasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science which independent schools in the North-West have indicated that they wish to join the assisted places scheme.
§ Dr. BoysonSchools were invited to indicate a provisional interest in membership of the assisted places scheme by 31 January and replies are still coming in. My right hon. and learned Friend will give a general indication of the response received as soon as possible after that date.
