§ Dr. BoysonHead teachers are responsible for the maintenance of discipline in their schools and for dealing with pupils who misbehave, according to the circumstances of individual cases and within any guidelines provided by the local education authority. It would not therefore be possible to provide a comprehensive list of sanctions available to headteachers.
