asked Her Majesty's Government:

On how many of those key sites of special scientific interest, identified by the Nature Conservancy Council as having been destroyed or seriously damaged as a direct result of agricultural and forestry operations, were Government grants payed for the purposes of food and timber production, and on how many of these did the Government give consideration to Section 11 of the Countryside Act 1968, before paying grant.
