asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what is the number of farms assessed by his Department as being significantly affected by severance as a result of the projected M40 motorway.

The only information available in my Department refers lo the preferred routes.

As far as can be estimated, between 75 and 80 farms could be significantly affected by severance.
