§ Mr. Leightonasked the Lord Privy Seal how many copies of the leaflets entitled (a) Europe and Your Job, (b) Europe and Your Food and (c) Europe and Your Future, have been issued by the EEC Commission; whether similar leaflets have been issued in other EEC countries; how many copies of each have been printed, in which country and at what cost to the EEC; whether the leaflets have been supplied to schools and other educational institutions; and if he will provide a list of individuals and organisations which have been sent supplies in bulk.
§ Sir Ian GilmourThe details requested by the hon. Member concerning distribution of these leaflets are a matter for the Commission and are not available to Her Majesty's Government. On the question of cost, I have nothing to add to the reply given by my right hon. and learned Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to the hon. Member's question on expenditure from the Community's budget on representation, information and publicity.
