§ Mr. Forresterasked the Secretary of State for Employment when the report by the Health and Safety Executive of the fire which occurred at the Permaflex factory, Longport, Stoke-on-Trent in February will be published; and what are the reasons for the delay.
§ Mr. MayhewI understand that it was necessary for the Health and Safety Executive to consult the Home Office on the involvement of the fire services. These consultations have now been completed and arrangements for the printing of the report are in hand. It is anticipated that the report will be available in February of next year.
