§ Mr. WigginIn 1969 the Advisory Committee on Pesticides published a review of the persistent organochlorine pesticide which concentrated on crop protection, food storage and home and garden uses. Since then the committee has kept the use of these chemicals under continuous review and we are at present considering a recommendation by the Royal Commission on environmental pollution that there should be a review of the total agricultural and industrial use of these materials.
§ Mr. Hardyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will study the work carried out by the Game Conservancy in field research upon the effects of organochlorines.
