§ Mr. Jim Lester[pursuant to his reply, 12 December 1980]: Statistics of short-time working are not available 154W below standard regional level. However, in the Blackburn travel-to-work area there were 1,228 employees working short-time under the temporary short time working compensation scheme in October 1980.
