§ Mr. Jim LesterI know of no existing or proposed European Community legislation which will require any amendments to our statutory redundancy payments scheme. Each member State of the Community operates its own independent scheme. Our own scheme will continue to be governed by the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978.
