§ Miss Maynardasked the Minister of Transport what progress he is making in his investigation into lights and brakes on trailers and vehicles in agriculture.
§ Mr. Kenneth Clarke[pursuant to his reply, 15 December 1980]: On lighting, I am considering whether to put forward proposals for a revision and consolidation of the legislation affecting vehicles in agriculture when in use on the roads.
Following consultation on possible alteration of the legal braking and other construction and use regulations for agricultural vehicles, I propose to issue in the new year a further paper, taking into account the views of those consulted and proposing specific changes.
