Why an accident sign was placed on the B6232 near Darwen, opposite the Grey Horse public house, between 23rd July and 25th July 1980 when no accident had occurred.
§ Lord BelsteadI understand from the Chief Constable of Lancashire that road signs were used by his officers in connection with road checks at the pop festival at Darwen. This is an operational matter which is the responsibility of the chief constable.
