§ 79. Mr. Butcherasked the Minister for the Civil service whether she has been able to reduce the advertising costs of the Central Office of Information.
§ Mr. ChannonEconomies introduced by the Central Office of Information reduced their advertising costs by 10.3 per cent. in the financial year 1979–80, a saving of Dyer £2.3 million. A new system of paying advertising agencies started at the beginning of the present financial year. This should bring further savings.
