§ Mr. Ripponasked the Secretary of State for Industry how appropriate local authorities will be consulted in the Government's review of the areas which under present proposals will become non-assisted in August 1982.
§ Mr. David Mitchell[pursuant to his reply, 8 December 1980]: Areas due to become non-assisted by being downgraded two or more steps will be the subject of a special review before descheduling takes final effect in August 1982. It will take into account representations made by local authorities in the areas under review.
