§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithMy right hon. Friend has no plans to do so. Ministers responsible for forestry meet the chairman of the Forestry Commission from time to time. They last did so on 20 November.
§ 33. Mr. van Straubenzeeasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how he intends to encourage increased afforestation in England and Wales.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithAfforestation in England and Wales, and in Scotland, is a matter which my right hon. Friends have under consideration in our review of forestry policy. We hope to make an announcement soon.
