Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received from the National Farmers Union and the 179W representative bodies of the United Kingdom dairy industry regarding the co-responsibility levy, and in particular representations relating to the allegation that the French Government have been paying the levy for French farmers.
§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithWe have received a full expression of views about the co-responsibility levy from producers' organisations, including representations about the French Government paying the levy on behalf of French producers, which happened only for a period of 3½ months in 1977.
