§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether he will ameliorate the situation in the building and allied trades in Northern Ireland, in view of their present suffering as a result of the moratorium on capital projects in the public sector, by announcing now the probable level of expenditure in 1981–82 on capital projects.
§ Mr. RossiAn announcement about public expenditure levels in Northern Ireland in 1981–82 will be made as soon as possible. This will provide a basis for Northern Ireland Departments and other spending authorities to prepare their detailed spending plans for 1981–82, including their plans for capital expenditure.
