asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement about the price premium for untreated milk sold retail in Scotland

In my reply to my hon. Friend on 7 March 1980—[Vol. 980, c. 379–80]—I said that the existing premium of 1p per pint on raw, untreated milk sold retail would be discontinued shortly. It is my intention that the price premium for the "premium" grade of untreated milk in Scotland will be discontinued from 27 December 1981.
