§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he will publish an estimate in the Official Report of (a) the increase in exports in the past 12 months as a result of the assistance provided by the Government to exports and (b) the loss of exports as a result of the increase in the real exchange rate over the same period.
§ Mr. EyreGiven the many influences and uncertainties involved, it is not possible to make reliable estimates of changes in exports resulting either from the many and varied Government measures which assist our exports or from increases in the real exchange rate.
