§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish a table of the following pensions and benefits: (a) retirement pensions, (b) unemployment and sickness benefit, (c) widowed mother's allowance, (d) invalidity pension, (e) maternity allowance and (f) attendance allowance, showing the percentage change in real terms of each between November 1979 and in the levels announced to apply as from November 1980.
§ Mrs. ChalkerThe information requested is not yet available as the latest general index of retail prices relates to October. It is anticipated that the rate of inflation between the two upratings will be of the order of 1 per cent. less than was predicted when the November 1980 benefit rates were settled.
