§ Mr. StanleyThe Group of Eight and others have told us of the difficulties firms find themselves in as a consequence of the recession. The standstill on the letting of new local authority housing contracts has meant some disturbance in the flow of work, but the money value of public housing work that may be undertaken this year by the building industry has not been reduced below the level originally planned.
