asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many young people under 21 years of age he estimates are registered as unemployed; and if he will break down the total figure to show the position in Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Mr. Kilroy-Silk

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many young persons aged 18 years and under in (a) Kirkby, (b) Ormskirk, (c) Merseyside and (d) the North-West, have never had a job; and if he will provide separate figures for each careers office and job-centre at the latest available date for which figures are available, and comparable figures for 1979.
