§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will ensure that hon. Members are informed of any redundancies taking place within their respective constituencies immediately his Department is aware of 407W such redundancies, whatever the number of employees involved;
(2) if he will act to ensure that his Department accurately informs district and county councils of redundancies and to ensure that such information is available even to cover firms shedding 10 or even fewer of their employees.
