§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Employment when he will be placing the codes of practice in regard to picketing and closed shops before Parliament.
§ Mr. PriorI published draft codes of practice on picketing and the closed shop for consultation on Tuesday 5 August. Copies of the draft codes are available in the Vote Office. The period of consultation will last until 10 October. As soon as possible thereafter I shall seek Parliament's approval for the codes, amended as necessary in the light of consultations.
