asked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will institute arrangements to preserve World War II hangars and other aerodrome facilities for reasons of military archaeology.

Mr. Pattie

No. World War II hangars will continue to be maintained where there is an operational requirement for them, but special measures for their preservation could not be justified.
