asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make his statement on civil defence.

My right hon. Friend made a statement on civil defence yesterday.

Mr. Haynes

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether there are any official radioactive fallout shelters within Ashfield; and how many people they will accommodate.

Mr. Brittan

There are no official public shelters at present. As my right hon. Friend informed the House yesterday, there is to be a survey of existing structures suitable for such use.

Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether there are any plans to provide the nuclear fall-out shelters for Her Majesty's Ministers in the Palace of Westminster or at Government buildings.
