asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many civilian skilled employed men there are at die Army school of mechanical transport at Leconfield and in what particular trades: and how many apprentices there are, and in what particular trades they are employed at the same school.

I have been asked to reply.

No craftsmen or apprentices are employed in the Army school of mechanical transport, Leconfield, itself, but 45 craftsmen are currently employed in the REME workshop attached to the school in the following trades:

Vehicle mechanics (including charge hands, examiners and progressors) 40
Electricians 3
Carpenters 1
Sheet metal workers 1
No apprentices are employed in the workshop.
