(2) what proportion of residential accommodation owned or controlled by police authorities in England and Wales is occupied by persons other than serving police officers or their families;
(3) what is the total number of units of residential accommodation owned or controlled by police authorities in England and Wales.
§ Mr. BrittanOn such information as is available the total number of dwellings owned or rented by police authorities would appear to be of the order of 28,300. There are no central records held to show254W if any of the properties have been unoccupied for more than 12 months or if any are occupied by persons other than serving police officers or their families.
