asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the average waiting time before interview in the United Kingdom of sponsors of entry certificate applicants from the Indian Sub-continent on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what was the average waiting time before interview for entry certificate applicants at Islamabad on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year;

(2) what was the average waiting time before interview for entry certificate applicants at Dacca on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year;

(3) what was the average waiting time before interview for entry certificate applicants at Delhi on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year;

(4) how many applicants for entry certificates were awaiting interview at Islamabad on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year;

(5) how many applicants for entry certificates were awaiting interview at Dacca on 1 June 1979, 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year;

(6) how many applicants for entry certificates were awaiting interview at New Delhi on 1 June 1979 1 December 1979 and 1 June of the current year.
