§ Mr. Ray Powellasked the Secretary of State for Wales what steps he proposes to take in establishing the proposed enterprise zones to prevent a conflict of interests and responsibilities between his Department, county councils, borough 145W councils and district councils or community councils, the relevant planning authorities and health and safety at work implementation officers and others; and how soon he will place his proposals before the House.
§ Mr. Nicholas EdwardsCo-ordinated arrangements for speedy decision making are essential to the success of enterprise zones. These are among the issues being discussed with the local authorities and other bodies concerned with the proposed zone in the lower Swansea valley announced by my right hon.
