§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a table showing the reductions in current revenue spending which he proposed should be made by each local council in his circular of 12 June; and if he will also indicate in the table the amounts by which each council has since indicated that it plans to reduce its spending in response to the circular.

The data on which the original budget returns were based were subject to various reporting errors which local authorities have been asked to check and correct as part of the call for revised budgets.
