§ Mr. HeseltineI met the chairmen of the new town development corporations and the Commission for the New Towns on 16 July 1979. My hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State met representatives of the Association of District Councils on 17 December 1979. For the rest, discussions have taken place within the framework of the Department's normal contacts with the new towns.
