§ 59. Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in the Official Report the replies of local authority associations to his proposals in regard to the present levels of central support for local government and in regard to his proposals for local authority finance.
§ Mr. KingI have had no representations about the current level, 61 per cent., of grant support for local authority expenditure. As for representations on the block grant proposals, I refer the hen. member to the reply I gave earlier today to the hon. Member for Mitcham and Morden (Mr. Douglas-Mann).
