§ Mr. Patrick JenkinUnder the Social Security (No 2) Bill, we propose, in clause 3, to reduce to six weeks the maximum time which may elapse between claims for national insurance short-term benefits 433W and invalidity benefit without starting a new period of interruption of employment; and, in clause 5, to abate unemployment benefit for people over 60 who receive an occupational pension of over £35 a week.
