No separate estimate from expenditure in drugs is prepared, but it is not expected that any increase will arise other than because of price increases or the increasing number of patients in Park Lane hospital as it is commissioned. These items are paid for locally out of special hospital funds, including the reimbursement of any related expenditure by area health authorities.
